This policy explains what Magrios collects, why, and the choices you have. We collect what the Service needs to work — and no more.
What we collect
- Account details — your email and workspace, so you can sign in and we can associate your research with you.
- Research inputs — the company domain, competitors, and business context you provide to run a scan.
- Research artifacts — the reports we generate for you, stored so you can revisit and compare them over time.
- Product analytics — first-party events (for example: a scan started, a report was viewed) tied to your workspace, used to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell this data or load third-party advertising trackers.
- Billing data — handled by our payment provider. We store your subscription status, not your card number.
- Messages — anything you send us through the Talk to us form.
What we research
To produce a report, Magrios reads publicly accessible web pages relevant to your buyers’ questions. It does not access private accounts, and it stores the public source behind every finding so claims are verifiable.
How we use it
To run your research, deliver and store your reports, operate your subscription, send you transactional email (scan complete, scan failed, subscription activated), respond to support, and keep the Service secure and reliable. We do not use your data to train external models or sell it to anyone.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to operate Magrios — our research/crawler and language-model providers (to run scans), our payment provider (to process subscriptions), our email provider (to send transactional messages), and our hosting provider. Each processes data on our behalf. We may disclose data if required by law.
Retention
We keep your account and research artifacts while your account is active. Support messages are retained for a limited period and then pruned. Analytics events are retained on a rolling window. You can ask us to delete your data (see below).
Your choices
- Access, correct, or delete your data — request it through the Talk to us form.
- Cancel your subscription at any time from your workspace.
- Close your account, after which we delete or anonymize the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records by law.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including workspace isolation, encrypted transport, and access controls on administrative functions. No system is perfectly secure, but security is treated as a first-order requirement.
Changes
We’ll update this policy as the Service evolves and reflect changes in the “last updated” date above.
